EXPECT intense competition and other fun-filled activities as the best and the brightest in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML:BB) esports tournament take centerstage for the Season 10 Playoffs at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan, Robinsons Bridgetowne, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Quezon City, on Oct. 20-23.

Six of the country’s top teams — defending champion RSG Philippines. Blacklist International, Bren Esports, Smart Omega, ONIC Philippines, and ECHO — will battle it out for the largest share of the $150,000 prize pool and the right to represent the country in the M4 World Championship scheduled in Bali, Indonesia on January 2023.

The runner-up will also book a ticket to the M4 World Championship.

Last year, Blacklist International brought home the crown in the M3 World Championships.

MPL-PH S9 defending champion RSG PH will face ONIC PH at 1 p.m. while Bren Esports will meet MPL-PH S9 second placer Smart Omega at 5 p.m.

The match is best-of-five series with the winner advancing to second round to face the top two seeds on Friday, Oct 21.

ECHO and Blacklist International are the top two seeds in the Playoffs stage.

The grand finals match will be a best-of-seven series on Sunday, Oct 23.

MPL Philippines assured the health and safety of all on-ground attendees.

MPL Philippines will require individuals to present their proof of vaccination at the registration booth. Unvaccinated persons, pregnant women, children below 13 years old, and senior citizens will be prohibited from the premises.

Last Oct. 12, Blacklist International captain Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna was named as the MPL Philippines Season 10 regular season Most Valuable Player.

OhMyV33nus, who averaged7 327 in total assists 9.62 assists per game and 80 percent in kill participation, outlasted teammate Salic “Hadji” Imam and ECHO stars Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera and Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno.
