4 MWPs collared in separate operations in Batangas

CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – The Batangas Police the other day arrested the four most wanted persons (MWPs), all with issued warrants of arrest in Batangas during the anti-criminality operation.

Batangas Provincial Director P/Col. Glicerio C Cansilao reported to P/Brig. Gen. Antonio C. Yarra, regional director, PRO-CALABARZON (Police Regional Office-Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon), the arrests of the four MWPs in separate operations by the Batangas PPO (Police Provincial Office).

Cansilao said a suspect, a resident of Bgy. San Jose, Rosario, Batangas was handcuffed according to the warrant of arrest for large-scale “estafa” without bail and another case of 4 counts of estafa with bail amounting to P136,000, both issued by Presiding Judge Rose Marie J. Manalang-Austria of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 87 of Rosario.

The accused was arrested at the Manila City Jail Female Dormitory at Quezon Boulevard, Bgy. Sta. Cruz, Manila. The woman has been detained since November 12, 2021.

Another 26-year-old wanted man at the regional level, unmarried and a resident of Bgy. Sta. Clara, Batangas City, and temporarily living in Bgy. San Isidro Rodriguez, Rizal was caught in Kasiglahan Village, Bgy. San Isidro, on the same day pursuant to the warrant of arrest for two counts of rape issued by Presiding Judge Noel M. Lindog of the Family Court, Br. 2 of Lipa City on March 15, 2022.

Meanwhile, at Salome Subdivision in Bgy. Malaruhatan, Lian, Batangas, the chief stewardess of a private yacht, 34, and resident of the said area, was nabbed by town police for estafa charges by virtue of the warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Renato M. Pambid of RTC National Capital Judicial Region, Br. 76 of Quezon City on March 6, 2022.

Another suspect, a resident of Bgy. Lodlod, Lipa City, was captured for rape case and violation of R.A. 7610 issued by Presiding Judge Noel M. Lindog of the Family Court Branch 2 of Lipa City on November 12, 2021, was arrested by the joint forces of the Lipa CPS and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) Batangas in Bgy. San Sebastian Lipa City.
