4 household members busted in Cabanatuan drug sting
CABANATUAN CITY – Four members of a household in this city were arrested during an anti-illegal drug operation which resulted in the seizure of more than P70,000 worth of shabu here on Tuesday night.
Nabbed were Wilma Dela Cruz, 60, widow, vendor; Rudy Dela Cruz, 24, single, tricycle driver; Jay-R Dela Cruz, 33, single, maintenance worker; and Mary Ann Jaictem, 33, single, jobless, all of Purok Champaca 1, Bgy. Dicarma, this city.
City police head Lt. Col. Barnard Danie Dasugo said all four were arrested when undercover operatives sold P500 worth of shabu to one of the suspects at their alleged drug lair at 6:30 p.m.
Wilma and the other suspects yielded seven plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 10.35 grams worth P70,380.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being readied for filing against the suspects before the city prosecutor’s office here.
