4 drug suspects nabbed in CL stings

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Four persons on Wednesday were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Bulacan and Pampanga.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Bulacan police identified the suspects as Jaco, 23, a construction worker, and Tin, 38, a female businessman.

The Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas police launched the drug buy-bust against the two suspects in Bgy. Wawa, Balagtas, Bulacan and seized from the them at least 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000.

Another drug sting was launched in Bgy. San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, which resulted in the arrest of alias “Rabho,” a 45-year-old welder, and alias “Fredo,” a 49-year-old driver, both residents of Bgy. Lourdes Lauc Pao, Lubao, Pampanga.

The operation, led by the Pampanga police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3, yielded some 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000.

All arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“These operations demonstrated the steadfast dedication of law enforcement agencies in Central Luzon to combat the illicit drug trade and shield communities from its harmful consequences,” Hidalgo said.
