2 pushers collared, P200K MJ seized in Bulacan
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in a drug bust Friday in Bulacan.
Members of the SDEU Malolos police conducted an anti-drug operation in Bgy. Mojon City, Malolos, Bulacan which resulted in the arrest of driver Ajericho Carmona, 23, and Ericka Castro, 22, both residents of Felicisima Village, Brgy. Mojon, Malolos City.
Confiscated from the two were a cellphone, one plateless motorcycle, a plastic containing suspected marijuana fruiting tops, a sling bag containing one brick of suspected marijuana fruiting tops weighing approximately 1 kg. worth at least P200,000 and the P500.00 marked money.
Charges for violations of Sec. 5 & 11, Art. II of R.A. 9165 is being readied against the two suspects.
“Continuous proactive operations are being carried out as Police Regional Office 3 invigorates its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug-free Central Luzon,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said.
