2 most wanted felons in Central Luzon arrested

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two most wanted persons were arrested on Thursday in separate manhunt operations in Pampanga and Nueva Ecija.

In a report, Pampanga police director Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay said members of Mexico municipal police arrested mechanic Jhon Lee Mallari, 28, in his residence at No. 11 Purok 4, Narra St., Bgy. San Carlos, Mexico, Pampanga, based on a warrant issued against him by the San Fernando City, Pampanga Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 45 for rape.

Meanwhile, Nueva Ecija acting police director Col. Jaime Santos said Michael Lee Macaraeg, 22, of Bgy. Roxas, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija, was arrested by his men based on a warrant issued by Guimba, Nueva Ecija RTC Branch 31 for child abuse.

“Once again, I commend PRO3 men and women for successful manhunt operations to bring most wanted persons to the fold of justice, anchored on the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) of the PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar,” said Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon.
