2 killed, 2 injured in QC fire
TWO persons died while two others were hurt after a fire engulfed a residential area in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City, on Monday morning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fatalities were a 50-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy.
The injured victims were 48 and 22 years old. They are all residents of Kalayaan B, Alley 6, Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Arson investigators said the fire was raised to first alarm at around 6:58 a.m. It was declared under control at around 7:46 a.m. A fire out was declared at about 8:15 a.m.
Two houses were reportedly destroyed.
Authorities are investigating the fire incident, including the cost of damage to property.
