CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Two drug suspects on Tuesday were arrested while over P2.3 million worth of shabu was seized in an anti-illegal drugs operation by the Bataan police.

A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. indicated that the entrapment was conducted in Bgy. Mt. View.

An undercover officer transacted with the suspects, resulting in the suspects’ arrest.

Law enforcement personnel confiscated four large plastic sachets containing an estimated 350 grams of shabu and a loaded cal. .45 revolver during a search from the two suspects, who are now under the custody of the Mariveles police.

The suspects will be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Hidalgo lauded his men for the successful operation as he underscored the necessity of conducting anti-illegal drugs operations with utmost caution, given the risks to the safety of law enforcement personnel.
