1st Chief Justice Saber Award given to PMA grad
THE first ever Chief Justice Saber Award was awarded to a graduating cadet of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) during commencement exercises for “Bagsik-Diwa” Class of 2022 at Fort General Gregorio H. Del Pilar, Baguio City on Sunday.
The first recipient of the prestigious award was Cadet 1CL Ian Joseph V. Bragancia, and it was given by no less than Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.
The award will be conferred to a PMA graduate with “the highest overall rating in all Military Law courses offered by the Academic Group.”
Composed of 49 female cadets and 165 male cadets, the Bagsik Diwa class completed their Bachelor of Science degree in National Security Management.
A total of 105 class members will join the Philippine Army, 52 will join the Philippine Air Force, and 57 will serve in the Philippine Navy. By HECTOR LAWAS
