1K couples say ‘I do’ in Cavite V-Day mass wedding
NOVELETA, Cavite – More than 1,000 couples in the province of Cavite said “I do” in a mass wedding held on Valentine’s Day in the different towns and cities in the province.
In Dasmariñas City, Mayor Jenny Barzaga solemnized the wedding of a total of 714 couples held at the Dasmariñas Arena.
Mayor Dino Chua, presided over the annual “Kasalang Bayan” in Noveleta for the 32 couples at the El Palacio Hotel Ballroom. With Chua were Board member Davey Chua and councilor Edwin Salud as godfathers
Chua said the “Kasalang Bayan” is free for all residents of the town – from the processing of the marriage license to the food at the wedding reception.
In Tagaytay City, 46 couples participated in the mass wedding officiated by Mayor Bambol Tolentino held at the Fernwood Park Tagaytay.
In Kawit, 70 couples said “I Do” in a wedding solemnized by Mayor Angel Aguinaldo at the Pavillion in Bgy. San Sebastian.
Mayor Kevin Anarna of Silang ceremonialized the wedding of 40 couples in the town.
In Cavite City, Mayor Denver Chua of Cavite is scheduled to unite 43 couples on February 17, 2024 at the San Roque Church for the annual mass wedding in the city.
