Tondo driver found dead inside closed van
A 35-year-old driver was found dead and hanging by the neck yesterday morning inside a closed van in Balut, Tondo, Manila.
The victim was identified as John Rey Burdeos, a native of Agusan Del Sur and residing at No. 510 H. Lopez Boulevard, Balut, Tondo.
Prober P/Corporal Rodolfo Acosta III said the victim was found dead at around 3:20 a.m. inside an Isuzu closed van (plate number CAA 3848) which was parked at the YM Cargo Transport Corporation office located at H. Lopez Blvd. in Balut.
Reniel Son Alcasoda, 34, a co-worker of the victim, told the police he saw the lifeless victim in a kneeling position with a rope tied around his neck.
At around 9 p.m. the night before his death, the victim was said to have been overheard arguing with his wife on his cellphone.
