Teacher killed in DepEd bus crash
A TEACHER died on Saturday in a vehicular accident in Orani, Bataan.
Initial reports from the Bataan police said a Department of Education (DepEd) service bus was traveling on Vicinal Road in Barangay Tala, Orani, Bataan, when the bus’ brakes allegedly malfunctioned and fell off the cliff.
The bus has 47 teachers from Payatas Elementary School in Quezon City as passengers.
The driver and other passengers sustained injuries and were given medical attention by the responding medics.
