SUNSHINE Guimary was a hit in “Kaka” so she was quickly given another sex-comedy, “Shoot! Shoot!” with Andrew E. That has not been shown yet but here she is now in the cast of a new movie, “House Tour”, to start streaming on Vivamax on Octpber 22.

“I never thought 2021 would be okay for me kasi nga may pandemic,” she says. “But after’Kaka’, heto nga, sunod-sunod. HIndi agad nag-sink in sa akin ang magagandang nangyari sa buhay ko.

Ina-absorb ko pa lang na may nangyayari palang maganda kahit may pandemic and I’m very thankful to God and to Viva.”

She’s glad that “House Tour” is not another comedy. “Siempre, gusto ko rin namang mag-try ng other movies and my role here in ‘House Tour’ is very important. Ibang Sunshine ang mapapanood dito kasi heist movie, dark thriller siya. My character as Gabby ang turning point ng movie, kasi napakalaki ng sexual conflict sa kanya. Matutuklasan nyo when you watch the movie. I play Gabby, a popular actress and vlogger, at asawa ko si Rafa Siguion Reyna as Franco, an Olympian athlete. We’re rich, we live in a big mansion at nagpa-house tour kami to show it off sa aming vlog, without realizing that it will attract robbers led by Mark Anthony Fernandez.”

Will she have sexy scenes again? “Yes, kasi signature ko na ‘yun sa movies ko e. Parang hindi magiging kumpleto ang pelikula ko kung wala akong sexy scenes, so pinapanindigan ko naman. Ako, walang arte sa ganyan. Kapag sinabi nilang take it off, di take it off! Sige agad, para matapos na tayo. But later siempre, I hope ma-recognize din ako ng viewers for my acting talent.”

How does it feel being pitted against Cindy Miranda even in the film’s poster? “Naku, there’s no competion with Cindy, except yung sa characters namin. Siempre, kasi kasama siya nina Mark Anthony Fernandez, Diego Loyzaga and Marco Gomez na siyang umakyat sa mansion namin.”

How is it shooting films on a lock in setup? “Of course, nandun ‘yung takot sa shoot, pero dapat lang na labanan nyo, kasi we have to work. May commitment tayo sa trabaho, e. And so you get used to it. Importante talagang naka-vaccine na ang lahat.”

Since she’s an actress and a vlogger in real life, has she given a house tour of her home in her youtube channel?

“As a vlogger, kapag naubusan ka na ng content at nire-request ng mga suki mo na makita ang bahay mo. di pagbibigyan mo naman sila. So yes, nasubukan ko na yung magpa-housetour but ako, I regret .”

Why did she regret it? “E kasi may dumating sa bahay ko na stalker. I realized ang mali ko kasi alam niya ang buong detalye ng bahay ko, kunsaan ang kuwarto ko, nasaan ang CR, so lesson learned talaga ‘yun for me. Dumating siya ng 2 AM, natutulog na ako, and the guards sa village namin called me. Sabi ko, paalisin nyo po, pero ayaw raw umalis sa guard house. Kinausap niya ako, kasi raw mahal na mahal niya ko and he wants daw to protect me. So tumawag na lang kami ng pulis at napaalis siya, 8 AM na. Trauma talaga yun for me. For two weeks takot akong lumabas nang walang kasama. So we really have to be careful and this movie is really a lesson for those sa mga nagpapa-house tour sa vlogs nila. Before you do it, pag-isipan nyo munang mabuti ng 10 times.”
