Sampan, Plania prevail
SANMAN’S “Double Trouble” was a sure hit in Tagum City as it rained knockouts the whole night.
Ian Sampan stopped Jason Tinampay in the sixth round to wrestle away the WBF International Super Featherweight title in the main event.
Tinampay kissed the canvass three times before getting finished in the sixth stanza.
In the supporting fight, former world title contender “Magic” Mike Plania had a successful comeback as he knocked out Jeffrey Francis in the opening round.
Plania wasted no time and rained relentless combinations on Francisco thus forcing the referee to wave it off.
