‘Rado’ gang leader, 6 felons collared in Bulacan
CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – The alleged “Rado” crime group leader including two wanted felons and four illegal gamblers on Saturday were arrested in Bulacan.
Bulacan Police acting Director Col. Rommel Ochave said joint operatives led by 2nd PMFC together with the Norzagaray, Pandi Police, and the Bulacan PPO (Police Provincial Police) and 24th SAC, 2SAB PNP-SAF conducted a manhunt operation in Bgy. Bitungol, Norzagaray.
Collared was the high-value target and the leader of “Rado” crime group involved in gunrunning, carnapping, gun for hire, robbery, and illegal drugs identified as Noel Rado, 56, a businessman, of Bunsura I, Pandi, and Jedson Yamat, 42, a trader, of Poblacion, Pandi, Bulacan, based on a warrant for murder.
Upon seeing the approaching lawmen, Yamat and Rado tried to escape and when they were cornered, they pulled out their guns but were immediately disarmed by the cops.
Seized from the two were two loaded cal. .45 pistols.
The two will also be charged with violation of R.A. 10591 or the Comelec (Commission on Elections) gun ban.
Meanwhile, the Bocaue Police nabbed John Carlo Azarraga, of Matungao, Bulacan, for child abuse or violation of RA 7610, while anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by the Marilao and Bocaue Police resulted in the arrest of two individuals playing “cara y cruz” in Sta. Rosa 1, Marilao, and two persons for illegal numbers games or jueteng. Seized from them were three coins used as “pangara”, papelitos, number stamps, and bet money.
