Rizal cops nab no. 8 Calabarzon MWP
THE so-called no. 8 most wanted person (MWP) in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) with a murder case was arrested by the joint police forces in his hiding house in Sitio Balangkat, Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal, the other day.
According to the official report of Rizal Police Provincial Office (RPPO) Provincial Director Police Colonel Dominic L. Baccay submitted to Calabarzon Regional Director Police Brigadier General Antonio C. Yarra, the accused was identified as the 18-year-old Adamson Macalinao.
Baccay said the accused is tagged as no. 8 most wanted man of Region IV-A Calabarzon.
Around 7:00 p.m., personnel from the Intel/Warrant section personnel of Tanay Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PLt. Manuel Padlan together with Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 4A led by PCapt. Aldrich Keith Bartolome under the supervision of PLt. Col. Ruben M. Piqureo, chief of police, Tanay MPS implemented a warrant of arrest in his residence and handcuffed the non-resisting suspect.
The accused was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nestor V. Gapuzan of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 78 of Morong, Rizal dated February 21, 2022, with no bail recommended.
