QC murder suspect arrested in Bicol
AGENTS of the National Capital Region Police Office captured a murder suspect in Bicol, NCRPO director Brigadier General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. said on Saturday.
Members of the QC police station 6, the NCRPO Regional Intelligence Division, the QC Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit and the NCRPO Regional Mobile Force Battalion arrested the suspect in Barangay Bagumbayan in Libmanan, Camarines Sur.
NCRPO and QCPD officers under Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III went to Libmanan to arrest Jomar dela Cruz, alias Jerwin Coronas dela Cruz, 23.
The suspect is the subject of a warrant of arrest for murder issued by Judge Maria Gilda Pangilinan of the QC Regional Trial Court Branch 230.
Nartatez said that from August 12 to 17, NCRPO operatives arrested a total of 168 wanted men.
The arrested suspects are facing murder, rape, estafa and violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulations Act of 2013 and RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
