QC money remittance firm robbed by couple

A BRANCH of a money remittance firm in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City was robbed by two suspects, a man and a woman posing as customers on Sunday.

The robbery occurred at 8:30 a.m., December 12, 2021. as employee Monica Lyka Nicdao was at the LBC outlet located at unit 2 Fersal Bldg. No. 1022 E. Rod. Sr. Ave., Brgy. Mariana, Q.C., according to a report from the Quezon City Police District Station 11 (QCPD 11).

According to the employee, the man entered the establishment while his female companion waited outside.

The suspect when asked about his transaction said that he will send bills.

The employee gave him a form to be filled out.

However, after filing the said form, the suspect went out of the establishment.

When he returned, he was already carrying a box that he immediately turned over to the employee.

The suspect theb announced the heist at gunpoint. “Hold-up ito ibigay mo lahat ng pera,” he said.

The victim gave the collection money amounting to P3,000.00 including her cellular phone.

The suspects escape with the loot on board a motorcycle driven by the woman.
