
QC cops net 4 drug suspects
ANTI-narcotics policemen have arrested four suspected drug peddlers and confiscated P1,972,000 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City.
Lt. Col. Morgan Aguilar, police station 9 commander, identified the three suspects as Alejandro Lapore, 52; Rosalinda Lapore, 50; and a 16-year-old female.
The three are all residents of Brgy. Santa Ana, Taytay, Rizal. They were arrested at 6:10 p.m. of July 8, 2023 in front of Saint Bridget School along Aurora Blvd., Brgy. Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Based on the report, PS 9 policemen conducted a buy-bust operation after a concerned citizen reported the drug peddling activity of the suspects. A police officer acted as poseur buyer and bought P50,000 worth of shabu.
The three were arrested after handing the shabu to the poseur-buyer. Recovered from them were about 250 grams of shabu worth P1,700,000, a yellow sling bag, a cellular phone, an Isuzu DMAX (NOT 449) and the buy-bust money.
At the police station 4, policemen arrested Mark Anthony Dee, 25, of Brgy. Saloysoy, Meycauayan, Bulacan at 5:30 a.m. July 9 along Gen. Luis St., corner Mendoza Compound in Brgy. Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City.
PS 4 operatives conducted a buy-bust operation against Dee after receiving an information from a concerned citizen regarding his illegal drug activity.
Confiscated from his possession were 40 grams of shabu worth P272,000 and a caliber 9mm Taurus pistol with ammunition.
The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
