QC cops nab shabu peddler
QUEZON City police have seized 200 grams of shabu worth P1.36 million from a suspected drug peddler in a buy bust operation Sunday evening.
Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director said the illegal drugs were confiscated from 40-year-old suspected drug dealer Ruben Madarang.
Madarang was collared during a sting operation in Barangay Bahay Toro at around 7:10 p.m., Torre said in a statement.
The suspect allegedly accepted P79,000 in marked money from an undercover police officer as payment for a pack of shabu.
Apart from illegal drugs, policemen also confiscated the suspect’s cell phone and motorcycle.
