PRO-Calabarzon among 4 PNP top performing regional offices
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. was cited as among four top performing regional offices of the Philippine National Police.
This came after the release of the results of the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) of all 17 police regional offices nationwide for the year 2022.
PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. congratulated the PRO-Calabarzon and the three other police regional offices for the exemplary performance for the past year. Aside from Calabarzon, other top performing Police Regional Offices are Mimaropa, Bicol, and Cordillera.
The PRO-Calabarzon recorded the highest rating for the months of November (97.21%), December (98.21%) and March (94. 86%).
PRO4B (Mimaropa) also performed well in July with 96.53 percent and in September with 96.50 percent while PRO5 (Bicol) recorded the highest ratings for the months of October (96.42 percent), August (96.35 percent), January (95.68 percent), and February (95 percent).
Cordillera posted the highest ratings for the months of June (97.05 percent), July (96.53 percent), April (95.69 percent), and May (95.59 percent).
Meanwhile, PRO 5 (Bicol) recorded the highest ratings for the months of October (96.42 percent), August (96.35 percent), January (95.68 percent), and February (95 percent).
UPER is a monthly standardized evaluation tool that assesses the performance of different PNP offices nationwide.
The monthly evaluation includes metrics that assess the implementation of discipline, conduct of the hiring and selection process, maintenance of employee morale and welfare, human resource actions on placement and promotion, personnel and records management, and personnel plans and policies of police departments.
