PRESIDENT Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.‘s condition is improving.

According to Presidential Communications Office, the President may resume his full public engagement soon depending on the advice of his doctor.

“The President and the First Lady continue to experience flu-like symptoms but with improvements, maintaining stable vital signs. They are advised to continue medications, rest, and hydration for full recovery,” the PCO said in a statement.

“The President continues to work in his residence, handling correspondence and directives within medical advice. He anticipates resuming full public engagements soon, per his physician’s clearance.”

President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos developed flu-like symptoms following their full schedule these last few days and were advised to take fluids and medication to alleviate their symptoms.

The first couple attended the Australia, Asean Summit in Melbourne. They also had state and working visits in Germany and the Czech Republic.

They have been advised by their attending physician to get some rest to ensure their speedy recovery.

When the President arrived from Europe, he welcomed US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. He also attended the ceremonial signing ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport privatization and the World Economic Forum.
