PBBM unang Pinoy leader na nagsalita sa German business leaders sa nakalipas na 10 taon
UMAASA si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na lalakas pa ang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Germany.
Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos Marcos sa Philippine-German Business forum sa Berlin, sinabi nito na ang Germany ang may pinakamalakas na ekonomiya sa Europa.
Si Pangulong Marcos ang unang Filipinong lider na nagsalita sa harap ng German business leaders sa nakalipas na 10 taon.
“I personally bear the great significance of this visit, as I note that this is the first time in 10 years that a Philippine President has visited Germany and addressed the business community here in Berlin. Last year was a testament to the continuing confidence of Germany in the Philippines as a partner in the Asia-Pacific and the ASEAN region by leading among the countries in terms of investments,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Nagpapasalamat ang Pangulo sa mga negosyante sa Germany sa pagpapahayag ng interes na mag negosyo sa Pilipinas lalo na sa sustainability at climate resiliency sa pamamagitan ng renewable energy investments.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, inamyendahan na ng Pilipinas ang ilang energy transition policies pati na sa energy sector.
“We are also working on developing programs that will support and facilitate the efforts to decarbonize our economy. I have high hopes that we can welcome the opportunity for greater cooperation on climate change and energy transition,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“Aligned with our efforts on decarbonization, we are positioning ourselves as a regional hub for smart and sustainable manufacturing. And to achieve this, we are at the forefront of attracting sustainability-driven strategic investments powered by renewable energy,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
