P.9M marijuana seized in Bulacan sting
BALIUAG, Bulacan — Two drug suspects on Friday yielded some P930,000 worth marijuana in an entrapment by joint operatives of PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, PIU Bulacan and Baliuag police station.
PDEA Regional Director Christian O. Frivaldo identified the arrested suspects as Shota Ando, 29, of 307 First Capitol Place 1st, Kapitolyo Pasig City; and Carmela Giselle Ricafort, 29, of No. 26 San Manuel St., Bgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City.
Seized from them were six kilos of dried marijuana leaves, 30 pieces of vape cartridge containing suspected marijuana oil, P1,000 bill on top of boodle money, IDs and a cellphone.
Police impounded a Honda CRV with plate no. XJX-389 used by the suspect during the drug bust.
Charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to 26B (conspiracy to sell) will be filed against the suspects.
