Oil price hike again
LOCAL oil companies implemented another round of price increases, the third this month, starting today.
Independent oil firms PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Petro Gazz, Unioil Philippines and Seaoil imposed a uniform price increase of their gasoline products by P0.40 and diesel by P0.35 effective at 6 a.m. while Clean Fuel will adjust oil prices at 4:01 p.m. on the same day.
Major oil firms Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell will also implement the same price increases in gasoline and diesel products while kerosene a P0.15 effective at 6 a.m. while Chevron Philippines imposed the same price adjustments earlier at 12:01 a.m.
Oil industry sources said the continued spiking of international oil prices have caused domestic prices to climb.
