CALOOCAN City Mayor Oca Malapitan announced on Sunday that he ended up his quarantine period after testing negative for COVID-19, more than a week after testing positive for it.

The mayor, most of all, expressed his deepest thanked to the Lord who did not neglect him and instead healed him against the dreaded virus. He also took the opportunity to encourage every citizen, especially seniors like him, to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

At the end of his statement, Mayor Oca again expressed his gratitude to all and reminded everybody to be extra careful which is also one way of helping the medical workers.
