No PAL flights to, from UAE until June 15

THE Philippine Airlines (PAL) said that in view of the announcement that government ban on travel from the UAE is extended until June 15, there are no PAL flights to and from UAE (Dubai) during the said period.

“Our Manila-Dubai-Manila flights, which operate once a week (Wednesday), will resume on June 16, 2021,” said PAL spokesperson Ma. Cielo Villaluna.

Meanwhike, PAL carried more vaccines to Davao and CEB, consisting of Sputnik and Sinovac, respectively.

It was learned that yesterday (June 2), PAL flew 900 small vials of Sputnik V vaccines and 3,520 vials of Sinovac vaccines to Davao and then 300 ampules (small vials) to Cebu.

PR-1809 arrived at Davao International Airport from Manila at 6:09 a.m. while PR-1845 touched down at Mactan Cebu International Airport from Manila at 7:37 a.m.

Loading of vaccines into cold storage vans and delivery to cold storage facility then followed.

“PAL forms part of the cold-chain distribution of vaccines. We are committed to serve as an active partner of government in bringing these essential supplies to various parts of the country,” Villaluna said.
