NCRPO-RID seizes 22 kilos of MJ in Tondo
A BUY-BUST operation conducted by undercover agents of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) early morning Friday in Tondo, Manila, resulted in the arrest of a teenager and the recovery of 22 kilograms of dried marijuana (MJ) leaves worth more than P100,000, NCRPO Director Major General Felipe R. Natividad said yesterday. The suspect is now being held at the NCRPO-RDEU lock-up facility in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig City, and will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, said Maj. Gen. Natividad.
