CAVITE CITY – Former young actor Nash Aguas, 23, won the City Council seat and clinched as the no. 2 of ten council seats in the May 9, 2022 national and local elections.

Aguas, from the Mayor-elect Denver Chua and Vice Mayor-elect Raleigh Rusit tandem, garnered 29,600 votes, 2nd from topnotcher Mau Lu with 30,171 votes, 3rd was Edmund Tirona with 28,629 votes; Renan Montoya with 27,633 votes; Marrian Pinzon with 27,158; Jun Novero, 27,060; Doods Nuguid 26,647; and Jet Barrera 26,511; Marc Serrano 25,594; and Mark Amparo with 24,902 votes.

Aeign Zackrey Nash Victoriano Aguas, in real life, was raised and born in Cavite City.

Aguas, a former child actor ran under the ticket of Unlad Cavite City of Denver Chua and Raleigh Rusit and outgoing Vice Governor and Cavite 1st District Congressman-elect Ramon “Jolo” Revilla III – all allies of presumptive President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and presumptive Vice President Sara Duterte.

They will start assuming their office on June 30, 2022, after their oath of office.
