Manila logs over 130K minors vaxxed
THE City of Manila now has 130,488 minors who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and counting.
This was announced by presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, as he urged parents and guardians to have their children and wards vaccinated at the soonest possible time.
Citing a report from Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, who is in charge of the Manila City government’s health cluster and mass vaccination program owing to her being a doctor, Moreno said that the total administered doses for the general population of minors has already reached 273,012 as of February 21.
Meantime, the number of kids aged five to 11 who have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 shots is 14,778.
