Man shot dead in Batangas
A MAN was shot in the head and various parts of the body inside a jeepney in Rosario, Batangas
Rosario Municipal Police Station’s top cop Major Carlo C. Caceres identified the victim as Nelson De Castro.
A concerned citizen called Rosario MPS about the incident that occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on October 12, 2021 in Brgy. Macalamcam B.
Investigation showed that De Castro was seen on board an owner-type jeep with plate number VAP 626 when shot several times by an unidentified suspect with a cal .45 pistol.
The victim was hit in the head and different parts of the body killing him on the spot.
The suspect immediatefled fled on foot.
Police recovered five pieces of spent shell casings and three slugs for cal .45 at the crime scene.
A dragnet operation is being conducted for the possible arrest and identification of the suspect.
