SIX out of six.

Magnolia Chicken Timplados blasted Blackwater Elite, 105-84 behind another splendid performance by import Tyler Bey to keep its unbeaten record of six wins in as many matches halfway through the elimination round of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The 6-7 Bey finished with another double-double with 26 points and 22 rebounds to power the Chito Victolero-mentored Hotshots to as many as 23-point lead over the Bossing.

The 25-year-old Bey, who was selected as the No. 36 overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020 NBA Draft, also three assists, one steal and one block against six turnovers.

Bey had plenty of support.

Paul Lee added 19 points, including three triples, six assists and four rebounds in 25 minutes.

Jio Jalalon, Ian Sangalang and Mark Barroca chipping in 10 apiece.

Joseph Eriobu also shone in their fourth quarter with nine points, five rebounds and one assist.

Christian David and Mike Ayonayon carried the fight for Blackwater with 15 points apiece.

Blackwater import Chris Ortiz managed only eight points and eight rebounds in only 36 minutes while battling foul trouble..

Actually, the Bossing engaged the Hotshots in a dogfight in the first three quarters and entered the fourth period with only a five-point deficit.

But the Bossing of coach Jeff Cariaso had no answer when the Bey-led Hotshots went on a massive 35-19 finishing kick.

With the loss, Blackwater dropped to 1-6.

The Bossing won their first assignment before losing the next six games.
