LIZA Araneta-Marcos, the wife of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos, recalls donating her teaching salaries as “puhunan” for the Bar Exam Operations of her students, especially those from the provinces.

Mrs. Marcos pooled her teaching salaries to help pay for the food, transportation, and hotel expenses throughout the month-long Bar Operations of her students.

In “The Interviews Of The Wives And Children Of The 2022 Presidential Candidates featuring Liza Marcos and Vinny Marcos” published by “The Boy Abunda Talk Show Channel”, she recalled how photocopying bar tips and reviewers could be really expensive for students that when she learned about it, she immediately provided her former students with free access to photocopying machines to prepare for their next sets of exams.

Prior to pandemic, all aspiring lawyers from all parts of the country would need to take the Bar examinations at the University of Sto. Tomas for four consecutive Sundays.

She taught law subjects in various schools in the country, including the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Far Eastern University, Northwestern University, Mariano Marcos State University, and Saint Louis University in Baguio City.

When asked about the role she would play if she becomes first lady, Mrs. Marcos made it clear that entering the government is “not [her] thing”, having been a lawyer and law professor who enjoys “staying out of the limelight.”

“Maybe I’ll cross the bridge when I get there,” she told celebrity talk show host Boy Abunda when asked if she would be politically involved if ever she becomes first lady.

“But if ever, teaching will be good, I’m a lawyer. But to enter government, no way,” she added.
