Libro inilungsad para madaling mainitindihan proseso ng Customs
ISANG libro ang inilungsad ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) upang mas madaling maintindihan ang mga proseso ng Adwana.
Ang librong “Compendium on Customs Disposal Processes” ay gawa nina BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, Chief-of-Staff ng Office of the Commissioner na si Atty. Marlon Agaceta, at Legal Service Director Atty. Tristan Langcay.
Laman ng libro ang mga proseso sa BOC, ang pagsasagawa nito ng mga imbestigasyon at pagresolba sa mga kaso na mula sa ilang dekadang karanasan ng mga opisyal ng ahensya.
Ayon kay Commissioner Rubio ang libro ay makatutulong sa mga kasalukuyang opisyal ng BOC gayundin sa mga bagong pasok sa ahensya.
“Whether you’re a veteran or new to the field, this is a tool you can use to navigate Customs Disposal Processes,” ani Commissioner Rubio.
Nasa libro rin ang mga batas at regulasyon na sinusunod ng Customs gaya ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act, Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, Customs Administration Orders, at mga Customs Memorandum Order.
Kasama rin dito ang mga bagong desisyon ng Korte Suprema kaugnay ng mga isinampa at kinaharap na kaso ng ahensya.
Nagpasalamat si Commissioner Rubio sa mga tumulong upang mabuo ang libro.
Nagpahayag naman ng suporta si Dr. Girlie Jacala, Vice President ng Central Books.
