HOUSE Assistant Majority Leader and ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Niña Taduran has called on local government units (LGU) to streamline their vaccination procedures to avoid overcrowding as people take chances at vaccination sites in the absence of an appointment.

Taduran expressed concern on the news that people troop to vaccination sites, forget health protocols particularly social distancing and some spend hours lining up for nothing.

Taduran added.

The solon also questioned the arrest by San Juan Police of 6 individuals who showed up at a vaccination site in Greenhills after receiving a text message that they were scheduled to be vaccinated at the site, which later turned out to be a hoax message.

Taduran said he believes that the key to a successful vaccination procedure is the proper planning on the allocation of vaccines along with the organized process in the vaccination sites.
