INATASAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pribado at pambulikong sektor na madaliin at kumpletuhin na ang konstruksyon ng water projects sa bansa.

Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa inagurasyon ng Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project sa Davao City, sinabi nito na ito ay para mapaganda ang water security at matugunan ang banta sa kakapusan ng suplay ng tubig.

Nabatid na ang Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project ay isa sa pinakamalaking private bulk water supply facilities sa ilalim ng Apo Agua Infrastructura Inc. at Davao City Water District (DCWD) na kumukuha ng tubig sa Tamugan River.

“Thank you for showing us the deep well of potential that public-private partnerships hold, not just in securing water supply, but also in paving the way for enhanced economic growth, jobs creation, and an improved standards of living for all Filipinos,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“What this demonstrates is a proven approach in battling water scarcity, which is no longer a seasonal challenge but a perpetual threat that comes with climate change. It is for this reason that I continually stress the urgency of improving water security, and directed agencies concerned to expedite the completion of all water projects across the country,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Binigyang diin ni Pangulong Marcos na mahalaga na matiyak ang seguridad sa tubig para sa magandang buhay ng nga Filipino pati na ang pagpapalakas sa.ekonomiya ng bansa.
