Keana prepares hard for the future
KEANA Reeves is part of the sexy drama “BJJ: Woman on Top” which is now streaming on Vivamax. And she says she feels sad that she was not required to undress or do a bedscene in the story.
“Akala ng ibang tao, maghuhubad din ako kasi nga Vivamax ang pelikulang ito,” she says. “E, hindi naman ako binigyan ni Direk Linnet Zurbano ng bedscene. Comedy pa rin ang mga eksena ko with Angela Morena as my boss, na lagi kong binibiro tungkol sa lovelife niya with Yuki Sakamoto.”
But later on, she turns out to have an abusive husband who’s beating her up regularly. Angela, who is a Brazilian jujietsu expert in the movie, sees her husband roughing her up in the street and rescues her.
“Sa movie lang yun,” she says. “Kasi in real life hindi ako magpapaapi sa kahit sinong lalaki. Lalaban ako.”
Keanna is Janet Duterte in real life and first gained fame in 2004 when she admitted she started as an escort girl and some of her clients were politicians. In 2006, she won in the celebrity edition of Pinoy Big Brother where Rustom Padilla outed himself from the closet to her and later became BB Gandanghari.
Keanna has appeared in several teleseryes as a Kapamilya, like “Maging Sino Ka Man” with John Lloyd-Bea, “Margarita”, “Killer Bride”, “Hoy, Love You” and others. She has also appeared in various GMA and TV5 shows, and did several movies.
She has just turned 53 on September 24. “Ilang years na lang, senior citizen na ako, so I want to have additional income other than showbiz. I ventured into business at nagkaroon ako ng motorcycle dealership kasi mabili ang motor ngayon. Noong birthday ko, I also launched my own line of anti-aging products, KR Skin Care, doing online sales for additional income.”
She has seen “BJJ: Woman on Top”. How does she feel watching the sexy bed scenes of co-stars Angela Morena, Alexa Ocampo and Jela Cuenca?
“Bilib ako kasi ang tatapang nila,” she says. “Nagpa-sexy rin ako but more on comedy. Wala namang streaming noong araw, so never ko nagawa yung mga ginagawa nila ngayon. Pero kung ipapagawa sa akin, ewan ko. Basta saludo ako sa pagka-daring nila.”
