BATANGAS — The mass vaccination being held at the DREAM Zone in Capitol Compound, Batangas City was temporarily suspended after more than 30 of the vaccination team tested positive for COVID-19.

Provincial health officer Dr. Rosvilinda Ozaeta made the report during the weekly meeting of the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 held last Monday.

Ozaeta said vaccination continues through mobile units circulating in the towns in the province.

“We converted dental buses and one bus from Anakalusugan to go to the vaccination sites,” Ozaeta said.

Governor Dodo Mandanas said the province still has a supply of vaccines and uses mobile units to get more people vaccinated.

Vaccination buses played a big role in helping Batangas province reach its target number of people inoculated in the past intensive National COVID-19 vaccination days. Jojo Magsombol with Jayne Elarmo/Batangas Capitol PIO
