Iwahig prison resumes PDL visitation privilege

THE Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) in Palawan has resumed the visitation privilege of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to dwindle.

In a statement, the IPPF said “visitors are required to follow health protocols such as being fully vaccinated, presentation of Vaccination Card and Identification Card, well fitted Facemask, and suitable dress attire with reasonable modesty.”

Children below 18 years of age are not allowed to visit.

Apart from IPPF, the prison facilities under Bureau of Corrections (BuCor)are Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City, Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm in Oriental Mindoro, New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa;

The Davao Prison and Penal Farm in Davao del Norte, San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm in Zamboanga City, and the Leyte Regional Prison in Southern Leyte.
