IMUS CITY, Cavite – The city council here approved the ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Moral Recovery Program, Good Governance, Good Citizenry, and Values Formation Program” before their current term ended on June 20, 2022.

The newly approved city ordinance with no. 04-185 creates the “City of Imus Moral Transformation Council” authored by Councilor Hertito Monzon, committee chair of Ways and Means/Games and Amusement and Committee on Tourism.

According to Coun.

The ordinance aims to provide better performance and fulfillment of its sworn duty and provide high-quality public services.

It also aims to maintain the morality, transparency, and integrity of every officer and staff of the Imus local government.

The Council will be formed to formulate policies implemented in each department of the local government of Imus – to barangay levels and subdivisions.

“This is one of the priorities and included in the Executive Agenda of the next Father of the City, Mayor-Elect Alex L. Advincula,” Monzon added.
