GenTri LGU holds Buntis Congress 2024
GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite. – In order to provide protection and care among GenTriseño women, the city government on Monday held “Buntis Congress” at the General Trias Cultural and Convention Center.
Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer IV led the program, together with Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, city dads, Provincial Council of Women chairperson Anne Ferrer, Nagkakaisang Kababaihan ng General Trias (NKGT) president Aisha Columna and City Health Office.
The purpose of the program is to help provide safe pregnancy, childbirth and health of the future offspring.
Some 180 pregnant residents of the city were given free OB consultation, ultrasound and pre-natal care kits.
Mayor Ferrer said the city government is working with every GenTriseño family to ensure the safety of pregnant women and their babies.
