Five caught in Laguna illegal tupada
Five persons involved in illegal cock fighting were nabbed by the combined 3rd MP and 1st LPFMC’s anti- illegal gambling operation conducted on Thursday afternoon in Bgy. San Isidro, San Pablo City, Laguna.
Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II reported to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz the arrest of suspects identified as John Micahel Abril, 29; Jayson Bolado, 40; Arvin Araneta, 34, all residents of Bgy. San Isidro; Chester Capule, 29, and Bryan Ilao, 38, of Bgy. Santisimo Rosario, this city.
On or about 2:40 p.m., joint operatives of San Pablo Police led by PLT Rodel Abracia and 3rd MP 1st LPMFC conducted an anti-Illegal gambling operation at Bgy. San Isidro that resulted in the arrest of the suspects after they were caught in the act of engaging in an illegal cock fighting locally known as tupada.
Recovered pieces of evidence were P500, P450, P300, P240 and P230 in different denominations and two fighting cocks and two gaff.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to San Pablo CPS for proper disposition.
