Female sports leaders at TOPS
TWO of the hardest-working female sports leaders will take centerstage in the 127th edition of the “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) on Thursday.
Newly-reelected Pilipinas Sepak Takraw Association, Inc. (PSTFI) president Karen Tanchanco-Caballero and Philippine Pencak Silat Association (PHILSILAT) head Princess Jacel Kiram will talk about the latest developments in their respective sports during the 10 a.m. public service program.
Caballero, also the Deputy Secretary-General of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and the first woman Vice President of the Asian Sepaktakraw Federation (ASTAF), and Kiram will discuss the country’s preparations for the coming Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam in May 2022.
TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members to attend the session sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB)
TOPS is composed of editors, columnists, reporters and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids and friends from different social media groups.
This is the 127th episode of the TOPS “Usapang Sports” since its formal launch at the National Press Club in 2018 and its 69th edition since turning to a new platform due to the pandemic.
Veteran sportscaster Ernest Leo Hernandez is the moderator.
