PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief, General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar on Thursday named Brigadier Gen. Flynn E. Dongbo of the Philippine Military Academy ‘Bigkis-Lahi’ Class of 1990 as the new director of the PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group.
Dongbo replaced Brig. Gen. Thomas R. Frias Jr., a member of PNP Academy Class 1993 who was assigned as new Executive Officer of the PNP Directorate for Integrated Police Operations-Eastern Mindanao. Frias was named PNP-IMEG director on November 13, 2020.
Dongbo was ordered by Gen. Eleazar to ensure the continuity of the PNP-IMEG’s campaign against misfits and scalawags in the police force in line with the PNP chief’s Intensified Cleanliness Policy.
The PNP-IMEG was also tasked to monitor possible corruption in the PNP recruitment program specifically those who are defying Gen. Eleazar’s ‘nameless and faceless’ and ‘No Palakasan’ policy on recruitment of new patrolmen, officials said.
Gen. Eleazar designated erstwhile DIPO-EM Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Honorio R. Agnila of PMA ‘Sambisig’ Class of 1991 as new Deputy Director of the PNP Directorate for Research and Development.
He also named Brig. Gen. Jireh Omega D. Fidel as the new Deputy Director of the PNP-DIDM vice Dongbo.
Brig. Gen. Fidel, a member of PMA ‘Makatao’ Class of 1989 used to be the PNP-DRD deputy director.
