ECHO sweeps Blacklist to win all-Pinoy final

IN another all-Filipino grand finals, ECHO emerged as the best team in the M4 World Championship at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan 8n Jakarta Indonesia last Jan. 15.

And ECHO’s top stars — Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya — did it by a dominant 4-0 sweep of the best-of-seven finals to win Mobile Legends’ most-coveted crown and the the top purse of $300,000 (nearly P16.5 million).

More importantly, the win by ECHO avenged its heartbreaking 2-3 loss to Blacklist in the Season 10 of the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines last Oct. 22 in Manila.

The win also prevented Blacklist from becoming the first team in Mobile Legends history to win back-to-back world titles.

ECHO took Game 1 after defeating Blacklist, 13-4, in 14:42, Alston “Sanji” Pabico’s Yve was named the MVP of the match after scoring 2-0-8 KDA .

Benedict “BennyQT” Gonzales lifted the Orcas after a successful backdoor play in 14:07 in the Game 2 victory. He also scored eight kills, one death, one assists.

In Game 3, Echo again dominating Blacklist, 23-10, with Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya taking MVP honor on his Gusion’s 7-2-10 KDA.

With the title only a win away, ECHO finished the game in 17:16.

Blacklist settled for US$120,000 (P6.6 million) as runner-up.

Gonzales or BennyQT, was named the grand final MVP and earned US$5,000.

The MLBB announces that the M5 World Championship will be held in Manila on December.
