Echo defeated Bren Esports, 3-1, in a thrilling lower bracket semifinals showdown to keep its championship hopes alive in the

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 playoffs at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera was the man of the hour for Echo, which will meet the loser of the match between Blacklist International and RSG Slate Philippines to dispute the final ticket to the grand finals and the MLBB Southeast Asian Cup 2023.

Cabrera’s strong start enabled Echo to take control of the hghly-anticipated series pitting two teams which have been perfoming exceptionally well in the tournament.

The two teams also previously faced each other in the regular season.

Echodominated the first game of the match and managed to secure an early lead on the way to a monster 15-4 victory. Cabrera’s Franco emerged as MVP of the match after scoring 0-1-11 KDA.

Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Lancelot added four kills, one death and five assists.

The second game was just as intense with Echo taking an early lead and Bren Esports fighting back and securing the victory, 13-14.

David “FlapTzy” Canon’s Gloo was named the MVP of the match after finishing with 2-1-9 KDA.

Echo dominated the third game enroute to a 16-2 victory thanks to Alston “Sanji” Pabico, who took MVP honor with 9-1-4 KDA.

It was all Echo in the fourth game after finishing the match at 18-6.

MVP Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales’s Minsithar scored 4-1-9 KDA while KarlTzy’s Martis had a clean record 10-0-2 KDA.
