MARIVELES, Bataan — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) kiosk at the Watchlife Pasalubong Center in Mariveles, Bataan.

It will serve as a platform to exhibit various CARP Bataan products providing Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) with an opportunity to reach their target markets.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Eileen Ocampo emphasized the importance of assisting the pasalubong center in promoting CARP products to boost sales and contribute to the livelihood of ARBs.

“Collaborative efforts between government agencies and local businesses are really important for helping ARBs grow and succeed, not only in Bataan but also in the region,” she added.

Moreover, DTI Bataan Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Jeypy Ocampo shared that there are currently four CARP kiosks in the province.

“We not only launched a CARP kiosk at Watchlife Pasalubong Center but also provided them with a panaflex signage and product catalog to attract more customers,” he furthered.

The agency has also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Watchlife Workers Multipurpose Cooperative to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

It enables MSMEs to access designated spaces for showcasing and selling their CARP products, promotes DTI’s CARP program through various communication channels, and offers necessary guidance and support to participating MSMEs to grow their businesses.
