Chinese nationals nabbed for illegal detention in Paranaque
TWO Chinese nationals were arrested for illegally detaining a fellow Chinese inside a health spa on Tuesday afternoon in Paranaque City.
Elements of Tambo Police Station were able to rescue Tang Deshui while being detained inside Golden Age Health Spa located along Bradco Avenue, Brgy. Tambo after his lady friend, identified as Kyla Santos, legal age, reported the incident to the police station.
In a report received by Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Kirby John Kraft, Santos personally appeared at the Tambo Police Sub-Station and reported that his friend was detained illegally inside Golden Age Health Spa.
The suspects allegedly demanded P300,000 ransom from the victim in exchange for his release, prompting operatives of Tambo Police Station to conduct a rescue operation.
At around 12:20 p.m., policemen were able to rescue the victim and arrested the suspects identified as Wenlong Huang, 29, and Weiming Shi, 26.
The arrested suspects were charged with illegal detention before the Paranaque City Prosecutor’s Office.
