CESSNA 152 aircraft crash-lands in Alaminos
A CESSNA 152-type light aircraft with a flight instructor and a student on board, crash-landed in Sual, Alaminos, Pangasinan Wednesday morning.
According to a report by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines [CAAP] the training aircraft, owned by Fly Fast Aviation Academy with Registry No. RP-C8202, crashed-landed at about 9 a.m.
The crash fatally injured the pilot-in-command, while the student pilot has been brought to a nearby hospital in Alaminos for medical treatment.
It was learned that the aircraft took off Lingayen Airport at 08:22 a.m. for an orientation flight.
A CAAP Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board’s [AAIIB] Go Team has been dispatched to the crash scene to help determine the cause of the accident.
More information is expected to follow upon the examination of the crash scene. The names of the persons on board the aircraft have been withheld pending notification to their next of kin.
