Bossing in second win
TWO wins in a row for Blackwater Bossing.
Troy Rosario finished with 20 points as Blackwater outsteadied TNT Tropang Giga, 87-76 in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Rosario went 6-of-13 from the floor and added six rebounds to lead the Jeff Cariaso-mentored Bossing to victory.
RK Ilagan added 15 points, eight assists and seven rebounds while Christian David had 13 points in Blackwater’s second straight victory following their 96-93 triumph over the Meralco Bolts on opening day last Feb. 28 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Gilas mainstay Calvin Oftana led the scoring parade for TNT with 21 points on 9-of-18, four assists and four rebounds,
Veteran Jayson Castro added 12 points, four assists and three rebounds for coach Chot Reyes.
RR Pogoy, Glenn Khobuntin, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Henry Galinato had eight points each.
The Tropang Giga dropped to 1-1.
